I translated a book that was called a "submarine operation manual"
During 15 years of my experience as an English / Lithuanian / Russian translator, I translated thousands of pages of scientific and technical literature, and fiction. Many of my translations were published as articles in scientific or popular magazines and books (you can see samples here in the pictures). I translated Tom Clancy's book The Hunt for Red October into Lithuanian, published by VAGA Publishers Ltd. in 2003. This book amounts to 600 pages (Lithuanian edition) and contains so many technical descriptions of submarines and associated equipment that one of the reviewers called this book a "submarine operation manual". You can find this book in Martynas Mazvydas National Library of Lithuania, following the link (1). (In Lithuanian it is called Raudonojo Spalio Medziokle, translated by Romualdas Grigaliunas). This bestseller is still for sale in bookstores. If you follow the links (2), (3), or (4), you will also find the book with a reference to me as the translator, i.e. Romualdas Grigaliunas.
